Individual Therapy

One-on-one talk therapy offered in-person and via telehealth. This is your space to process thoughts, explore emotions, and work towards achieving your goals. After an initial intake session, typically we’ll meet weekly for about 50 minutes. Out-of-pocket cost per session is $120, however I reserve a portion of my caseload for sliding-scale options where we can negotiate a fair price for services.

  • After contacting me via phone or email, it could be only be 48 hours until we sit down in-person or via telehealth. However, it is not uncommon to be scheduled approximately one week from our initial contact with one another.

Factors that influence how quickly someone can be scheduled include my availability, your preferred appointment times, and how quickly you setup your client portal.

Cura Personalis Therapy is partnered with Mindful Therapy Group of Colorado (MTG). MTG has a dedicated scheduling team to help you get scheduled with me as soon as possible. First, they contact you to collect some basic personal information (Name, DOB, contact info) and payment information. Then, MTG will assist you in setting up your first session.

  • Coverage for mental health services varies by insurance provider and individual plans. I currently accept Aetna, Cigna, Colorado Medicaid, and United insurances. While I can’t provide you with estimated co-pay immediately, I would be happy to reach out to your insurance provider on your behalf to give you the best information about any costs associated with your mental health care.

  • While therapy can be helpful to people in many different ways, sometimes the cost of mental health care can turn people away from seeking the support they need or want.

Sliding-scale therapy aims to make therapy more affordable by taking into account a client’s ability to pay. This is done by looking at the client’s income, and finding a fair price for the services provided by the therapist.

I reserve a portion of my caseload for clients seeking a sliding-scale so that they can access therapy in a way that doesn’t exhaust their resources which may be needed for other areas of their life.
